August 30, 2011 – 2011 National Job Corps Commencement Day Ceremony for Shreveport Job Corps and other Job Corps nationwide – This celebration was in recognition of our students’ accomplishments and was held on the same day President Lyndon B. Johnson signed the Economic Opportunity Act creating Job Corps in 1964.
