On May 17, 2011 the Center hosted the Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce Breakfast of Champions with an outstanding number of participants attending.  The breakfast went extremely well with great presentations made from members of the Chamber.   The SGA Executive Board Officers were in attendance and interacted with chamber members.  Tracey Graham, Energy Efficiency Program Manger with the City of Shreveport, took great interest in the Center’s Green Home and contacted the Center Director regarding establishing a partnership with the center, whereby the Center may be able to receive grant funds to expand its Green Initiatives.  Tracey’s objective is to help expand awareness of the Green Initiative statewide.
