On April 23, 2011 eight (8) student leaders and the BCL participated in the Great American Clean-up in downtown Shreveport.   We were assigned to the Aseana Gardens where students Stephen Cavalier, Brandon Douglas, Sheila Fanasog, Yeshua Hardy, Armonte Tyler, Demetris Tyler, KaDesha Whitley and the BCL worked very hard to clean all the excess weeds and overgrown foliage from the area.  The students had the opportunity to plant additional shrubs and flowers and had a great time doing it.
