San Jose Job Corp’s Workforce Relations Council member DoubleTree by Hilton, invited the Culinary Arts class for a complimentary breakfast, and hotel careers tour. Job Corps students and staff ate and networked with the Hotel Manager, Executive Chef, Human Resource Manager and Marketing Manager. After breakfast, students and staff were escorted throughout the many “employee access only” areas throughout the hotel, meeting key staff members along the way asking questions about working for the DoubleTree hotel.
The experience ended in the Human Resources office, were the HR. Assistant helped many of the students began their employment paperwork and starting their career off on a great path with Hilton hotels!
