The San Diego Job Corps Center’s Make a Difference Day activities were featured in the November 10, 2011 edition of the Imperial Beach Eagle & Times Newspaper. The article detailed the community service work of 325 San Diego students and 41 staff members at several San Diego County locations during the month of October, 2011. The article included a picture of 5 students and one staff member working with the Kiwanis Club of Imperial Beach-South Bay selling newspapers as part of the San Diego Union-Tribune Kids’ NewsDay which benefited Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego.
