In September 2010, San Diego Job Corps’ Carpentry trade once again took the lead in assisting at the 47^th Thunder Boat Regatta held in Mission Beach, San Diego.  This year, the Culinary Arts trade and the Computer trade joined the Carpentry students in helping out at the event.  All of the students were able to utilize the skills they are learning at Job Corps, and were able to help the beneficiaries of the event; The San Diego Foster Care Program, Wounded Warriors, and Rady’s Children’s Hospital, San Diego.
