Sacramento Job Corps students from Facilities Maintenance and Landscaping trades had a chance to visit Sacramento County Water Agency Department of Water Resources, Water Treatment Plant. Students had a tour of the facility to see what a Water Treatment Operator does at a Water treatment Plant. This was a great experience for the students to see how a treatment plant works for drink water for the Sacramento area. The tour was conducted by Vicki butler, Water Treatment Plant Manager and Mike Tolin, P.E. Associate Sanitary Engineer, Drinking Water Field Operations. Students also learned what the qualifications are to become a Water Treatment Operator.
