Sacramento Job Corps honored three WBL Partners at CPC meeting

SJCC honored three Work-Based Learning partners for outstanding partnership with the center, including hiring many SJCC students for permanent positions. The center recognized Darrin Property Maintenance, Goodwill Industries and All Phase Security
during its Community Partnership Council meeting Dec. 9 at the center. In addition to offering WBL internships to students, Darrin Property Maintenance has hired 17 SJCC students in the last calendar year for permanent employment. The students
have come from Facilities Maintenance and Office Administration. Goodwill Industries–Sacramento Valley/Northern Nevada was recognized for being a WBL partner and for hiring 20 students in the last year. The students hired completed Office Administration and Culinary Arts at SJCC. The third WBL partner recognized at the meeting was All Phase Security, which has partnered with SJCC over the last 10 years to provide internships and employment for students. In the last decade, All Phase has hired 26 students who completed the Security program.
