Students at SJCC are training on several GREEN projects that are design to enhance their career opportunities on the green technologies/construction market and set them on a path of conscious energy conservation and green thinking attitude.

Some of the projects are the building weatherization which is aimed at reducing energy by at least 10-15 %. This along with the occupancy sensors and water conservation controls on all common restrooms will contribute to the conservation measures the center has adopted. Carpentry and FM students working on these projects will develop important GREEN skills both on the construction part of the industry and on the conservation technologies as well.
