Thirty students from Landscaping, Carpentry and Cement Masonry career technical training programs converged on William Land  Park October 9th for a day of maintenance and landscaping to prepare the park’s golf course for a new season of First Tee of Sacramento. First Tee works with inner city youth to teach them life lessons through the game of golf. SJCC students raked, cleaned, tilled, replanted and mulched flower beds, cleaned the clubhouse, stained benches and constructed new seating for the tee-off area. This event was part of  Community Service for the First Tee of Sacramento.
