Rebeca Carrera and Donna Or from the Certified medical Assistant has started a new work based learning opportunity with Sacramento Community Clinic. There are three clinics in the Sacramento area, one in the North Sacramento and two in the South Sacramento. There were five trainees that interviewed with the organization’s North area clinic, and two were chosen. The two students both worked at the North clinic. The South area clinic will start interviewing students to start WBL in September 2014. Both students stated that, “the experience is great and they are learning a lot and are exicited about the opportunity to show their skills that they learned at Sacramento Job Corps CMA program.
