Two community partners were honored at the Sacramento Job Corps Community Relations Council luncheon Aug. 28.
Casa Coloma Health Care Center was honored for providing work-based learning internships for students in the Certified Nursing Assistant career technical training program. Accepting the award for Coloma Health Care was Deborah Portela, administrator.
The center also honored the NAPA Sacramento Distribution Center, which has hired three students from the Heavy Equipment Mechanics program. Gina Rodenspiel from NAPA accepted the award.
These and other community partners recognize the quality of training students receive and support the mission of Sacramento Job Corps by offering quality internships and job opportunities for graduates of the Job Corps program.
