David Carr is a graduate of the Sacramento Job Corps. He started Job Corps in July 2012,and completed Carpentry and earned several awards including student of the month Safety award for dorm and trade. “David states he enjoys serving his country and says Job Corps taught him what a successful man in today’s economy. He believes without Job Corps he would not be prepared for life”.
David scored a 92 on the ASVAB, so he could have chosen to participate in any MOS for the military; but, he wanted to be part of Artillery. He completed Job Corps on August 19, 2013 and enlisted the same day, he is currently stationed in Ft. Drum, New York. David is another example that Job Corps works!
