National Job Corps Commencement Day Graduation was held on August 24, 2012. The Commencement day speaker was Congressman John Garamendi. There were over 100 graduates recognized at the event, also there were special awards presented. Congressman Garamendi  recognized most outstanding student and most improved. Victoria Ewing was the most outstanding student and Raul Valenzuela was the most improved. There were also other awards presented from Senator Darrell Steinberg office to Clara Munoz for most outstanding and Speigal Hauser for most improved. Assembly member Roger Dickinson representative also presented two most outstanding awards, Xavier Gray and Annie Crandall.
