ALMS Student of the Year – Carolina Gutierrez!

On behalf of Sacramento Job Corps Center, we would like to give special recognition to Carolina Gutierrez!

This year, Carolina has been involved in the ALMS, or All Leaders Must Serve, program. All Leaders Must Serve (ALMS) is a job readiness program formed to empower young adults from 15-25 years of age by instilling purpose, character, work ethics and the desire to give back to their community as self-sufficient adults through the service of mentors. Carolina has not only excelled in her time involved in ALMS, but she has recently been awarded the “Student of the Year” award. A local reporter, Sarah Dowling, recently wrote an article recognizing ALMS, highlighting Carolina’s hard work and achievements in the program (link below).

As seen above, Carolina is featured front and center in a picture with the Executive Director, Jayne Williams, and other excelling ALMS participants.

Congratulations, Carolina – we are all extremely proud of you, and cannot wait to see what you achieve in the coming years!
