Red Rock Human Service Worker (HSW) advanced training and Office Administration(OA) students job shadowed a number of county offices, and sat in on court proceedings at the Sullivan County Courthouse in Lopez, PA, last month for Ground Hog Job Shadow Day. Students learned about the offices of the Commissioners, Treasurer, Probation, Human Services and Veterans Affairs, Sheriff, Prothonotary and Register and Recorder. They also were provided question and answer time with President Judge Russell Shurtleff of Tunhannock, PA, who answered questions and spoke about court proceedings the students observed. Two students also registered to vote.
