Red Rock’s Jordan Pena of Harrisburg, an HBI Electrical student, was named the winner of the Dept. of Labor–Philadelphia Region’s, Women’s History Month, “Challenge Accepted” campaign. Jordan plans to attend advanced training at Gainesville Job Corps Center in Gainesville, FL for Solar Panel and Weatherization upon graduation in September. When she’ finished with advanced training, Jordan would like to obtain a four-year apprenticeship with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers union to continue her education. Congratulations Jordan and her HBI Electrical instructor, Jim Hancock.
