Red Rock Auto Collision Repair graduate Jon Baldwin visited Center on Tuesday, December 15 to obtain some information and visit with shop instructors and staff. Jon is also a graduate of The United Auto Workers – Labor Employment and Training Corporation (UAW-LETC) Advanced Automotive Training Program at Clearfield Job Corps Center in Clearfield, UT, and has been employed at Bert Wolf Toyota in Charleston, WV. He is preparing to attend US Army Basic Training in Fort Jackson, SC, to further his career working on UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters. Jon said some day, he would like to take that training further and eventually work for Boeing or some other private avionics company. While on Center, Jon spoke with a number of Auto Tech and Auto Collision Repair students about his Job Corps experience and urged them to work hard and forge ahead with their goals. “If you work hard and attain all of the education that is available, Job Corps is a phenomenal experience.” While at Advanced Training, Jon was also the Center student CEO.
