To commemorate Earth Day, the dorms at Red Rock are having an “earth friendly” recycling competition. Students will recycle plastic bottles and aluminum cans throughout the week of April 18-22. The dorm with the most poundage of recycled products will win a pizza party. Dorm leaders toured nearby Bloomsburg Recycling Center on April 11 to obtain information about the benefits of recycling so they could pass it on to their dorm residents to help promote recycling and other earth-friendly habits.
