Ramey Job Corps in WOLE TV- Enlace

Aguadilla, P.R.- Many are the benefits that the Ramey Job Corps program brings to the community and the complete island. In times where the unemployment rate is approximately 15%, the educational dropouts keep increasing to an approximate 36%; and all kinds of businesses and entities are struggling with budgets and creativity so they can strategically invest intelligently their finances; Job Corps keeps been a solution to support all these issues.

This is why two representing students; (one male from the Culinary Arts trade, and one female from the Licensed Practical Nurse trade) and the Business & Community Liaison were interviewed by Glorianne Muñiz in the TV show: “Enlace”. Enlace is a show transmitted on Saturday’s were entities share the services and benefits an entity has to offer to their communities.

Students interviewed were enthusiastic about sharing their success stories, how the Job Corps program has helped them achieve their career technical certificates for the first time in their lives in television. The Center’s Liaison talked about the career training offerings, program’s services, admissions’ requirements, community impact, advanced educational/training programs for outstanding students, life on center, the Community 7 Industry Relations Committees, and the great support given by our Congressman Hon. Pierluisi.

WOLE TV, shares many of their Enlace’s shows in their YouTube page. As soon the interview is uploaded, we will share through this blog the direct link.
