Aguadilla, P.R.- The Agronomist, Mr. René Ruíz, member of the Community Relations Committee offered our students a workshop about plants’ classification, fertilizers, and new strategies to plant bushes in our Job Corps’ Center  green areas.

Students enjoyed the workshop in commemoration of the Earth Day, where two trees were planted; (1) “jabilla dominicano”, (2) eucalyptus without flowers. Mr. Ruiz is the Agronomist of the Agricultural Extension from the University of Puerto Rico- Mayagüez Campus. He leads the city’s 4H Club and supports Ramey Job Corps in our green efforts as well as community impact events.
