Burdick Job Corps staff and students have partnered with the American Cancer Society to help build awareness and assist with fund raising for the group.  The team held its first project on center which was a bake sale. Goodies were provided by staff volunteers.  Staff and students also made and sold beaded lanyard chains. The group netted $305 from baked sales and another $90 from the lanyard sales.  Other projects are planned and participation in the June 8 Walk  in our community is also planned.
