Quentin N. Burdick Job Corps Center participated in Minot, North Dakota Rodeo Week. The Rodeo Queens visiting from several states took time out of their busy schedules to serve as judges for the Job Corps Center’s delicious Western Dip Contest, an annually on-center event designed as part of the festivities. The winner of the Western Dip Contest went to Female Suite 1 – “True Colors”. There dip recipe consisted of 3 ingredients. Judges were impressed and most of all, the taste of the dip was out of this world. During Rodeo Week, Job Corps center students also had an opportunity to participate in the Minot Y Men’s Club Rodeo and Western Day. Academic Instructor Paul Christensen, a member of the club, helped organize student volunteers for the event. Perry Sample, Recreation Director, and his staff, also arranged for students to participate in other fun-filled Rodeo Week festivities.
