Four Burdick Students Graduate as RN’s

Four Burdick Students Graduate as RN’s

Burdick Job Corps had four students graduate as RN’s on May 11th graduating with an Associate Degree in Nursing.  These 4 students participated in Dakota College graduation ceremony. N.D. Lieutenant Governor Drew Wrigley gave the commencement address at their graduation. Ritha Humphrey and Robin Humphrey graduated with High Honors and Emily Sorenson graduated with Honors. Ritha, Robin and Emily were also on the Honor Society Phi Theta Kappa where they are recognized for their academic achievement. Following the graduation ceremony was their Nursing pinning ceremony to honor and recognize the dedication that these students have demonstrated for the nursing profession.  Each of the students were pinned with their Nursing pin and then they each were given a candle to light in which they recited the Nursing pledge together.  These four students have made Burdick Job Corps very proud.  These students were very hard working and determined and not afraid to go the extra mile to pursue their career.  All four students are employed with their degrees in Minot, ND.
