Cultural Diversity Fair Held at Quentin N. Burdick Job Corps

Quentin N. Burdick Job Corps Center students recently held a Cultural Fair where different cultures including American, Native American, German, Mexican, Swiss, Norwegian, Irish, and Pacific Islander, were represented. Each student group was assigned a specific culture to research and obtain information about the culture’s history, heritage and practices. Research areas also included cultural geography, cuisine and contributions to American society. The fair was a very positive experience for participating students and general attendees. Plans are underway to host a similar event in early December with emphasis on cultural winter practices and festivities. Pictured are Quentin N. Burdick Job Corps Center Cultural Fair participants.
