Four Quentin N. Burdick Job Corps Center staff from the Academic Department volunteered their time to answer phones for the “BRING BACK THE MAGIC” Telethon.  More than 4,000 homes and 12,000 friends and neighbors were affected by the Minot area flood.  Damages are expected to exceed $1.2 billion.  Members of the Minot Area Recovery Fund committee sponsored the telethon on September 12^th.  The telethon raised 1.9 million for Minot’s flood recovery.  The telethon was amply titled because Minot is know as the “MAGIC CITY.”
