Thirteen Culinary Art’s Student Employees, their instructor, Paulette Meland, and their Team Manager, Marilyn Haider, worked together to help support the “Rebuilding our Lives and Finding Hope” workshop and community event on October 28, 2011. The workshop was a grief seminar put together to help support the Minot 2011 Flood.

The Burdick Culinary Team prepared veggies, fruits, and sandwiches for over 248 boxed lunches.

A thank you letter later received from St. John the Apostle Church stated:

“Without your help, we could not have provided such a meaningful experience for so many people. You were key players in the preparation and follow through of this event.”
