Shadowing in the Community

  • Congresswomen Donna Edwards allowed two students from Potomac Job Corps to shadow her congressional staff in her Maryland district office.  The shadowing goal is to allow students to see first-hand the work and objectives of the United States House of Representative.  The shadowing experience took place on March 1, 2012.
  • The City of Forest Heights’ welcomed two Potomac Job Corps students to shadow the Town Clerk on March 6, 2012. The students had an opportunity to learn how town government pay its bills, work with residents, and interact with Maryland’s governor.  Potomac’s shadowing goal is to allow students to see the day-to-day management of a company, organization or legislative body at work.
