On Thursday, December 8, 2016, Ty Best, CEO S.T.E.E.F., Inc. conducted a workshop for Y2Y Students entitled, “Know Your Rights: How to Effectively Manage Encounters with Law Enforcement”. This informative workshop focused on the do’s and don’ts when detained by an officer. The new marijuana laws in D.C. were also discussed. In addition, Mr. Best gave an overview and criteria required for the Police Cadet Program for the Metropolitan Police Department in Washington D.C. This information proved to be beneficial for our Security Trade students.
