Staff members at Potomac Job Corps Center for were finally able to reconnect with social distancing in place all of the men and women who returned back to center on Tuesday, February 23, 2021. The anticipation for student arrival has grown since March 2020. During the time that students were gone Potomac connected daily with students through telephone, social media, email, and etc., It felt like a sigh of relief to see students returning back to the center with the determination to complete their career and training. A few plans planned for students to continue to be safe on center are:
*Following Guidance from CDC, Washington DC Health /Department State Department of Health, and Department of Labor
*Wellness staff involved in calling students in advance before returning
*Students will have their temperature check soon as they arrive on center.
*Quarantining for 14 days students
Potomac will continue to steward student achievement with the support of all staff members. Potomac JCC is moving forward with everyone together to achieve!
