The Potomac Job Corps Center Association (SGA) President, Nikendra Cherry participated in a short Instagram meeting on TEV Talk (IG @TheNJCA). Potomac was elated to have a job corps representative speak on a national platform. Nikendra talked about the role SGA plays in center facilitated events and meetings at Potomac JCC. She took time to also explain in detail how important the Potomac family has been to her as a student. Nikendra also spoke about the daily focus students receive while on center such as support for workforce, college, and military readiness. The current pandemic that our entire nation is experiencing and overcoming was also brought up during the Instagram video. She talked deeply about how this has affected so many people lives but despite the pandemic she still receives support from Potomac to become successful.
