Potomac Job Corps Center staff participated in several trainings on 5/31/19. One of the staff trainings was related to Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE). In the picture above Academic Manager, Jacob Fahringer speaks to staff about TABE testing. Test taking is essential to their employability as well as their mastering of skills. However, the professional development training explained to staff what the TABE test experience is. For example upon student arrivals to center each student must take the locator test to see what part of the TABE test the student will take. The goals for each student is to display their knowledge and mastery of high school learning. With the support of Potomac Job Corps Center, students will feel comfortable and prepared to take the test.
