Potomac Job Corps Center Serves at the Department of Labor

On Wednesday, January 11, 2017, 12 Hotel & Lodging and 8 Culinary Arts Students, along with their instructors, catered the U.S. Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division’s Annual Recognition Breakfast. Buffet tables were set up on both sides of the auditorium, which enable the 130 guests to easily maneuver through the serving lines. Each table was decorated with a variety of hand carved fruit displays. The menu consisted of maple bacon, sausage, fried potatoes, waffles with delectable toppings and lastly the made to order omelet station. The instructors busily monitored the venue to ensure that everything was in order and replenished as needed. The CTT Manager and BCL were proud to witness the students as they exhibited great social skills, conduct and appearance.
