Potomac Job Corps Center highlights another alumni Nyashia Horton. She currently resides in Hampton, Virginia. Her concentration or training on center was Culinary Arts. Before coming to Potomac Job Corps Center she was working but not engaged in a career that made her happy. However, she explains that coming to Potomac Job Corps was the best decision she has ever made. She enjoyed being on center with people who were also training and learning just as she was. She acknowledges her culinary arts instructor as being the tool to help support her training and creativeness. Her quote to future job corps students is “Never say I can’t you already have what it takes to be successful. Also, my life has changed because I was given the opportunity to become successful at Potomac Job Corps Center.”
