Potomac Job Corps Center is happy to highlight alumni Michael Parker from the class of 2019. He currently resides in Washington, DC. The former graduate of Potomac Job Corps Center was a stellar student on center. Mr. Parker goal as a students was to always become a better student and expert in his field of plumbing. So, before leaving job corps Mr. Parker worked hard to receive his high school diploma, driver’s license, and certifications to begin his journey as a plumber. Michael said “Potomac Job Corps Center gave him the tools needed to become successful in training. I am able to support myself now and understand the meaning of hard work.” Potomac taught me time management skills, organization, respect, following directions on the job, safety, and proper (PPE) uniform protection. Finally, Michael said, “forget your mistake remember your lesson”
