Potomac Job Corps Center participated in a region(2) competition to build a gingerbread house with the assistance of students and staff. Congratulations’ to Pittsburgh JCC 1st place, Phoenix JCC 2nd place, and Pinellas JCC 3rd place finish. Students encouraged staff members to tap into their creativeness and ability to be optimistic. In return staff members encouraged students to stay focus and complete the activity. The gingerbread house brought competition but also team building. Although, Potomac didn’t win the gingerbread competition staff and students look forward to next years challenge again.
