Potomac Job Corps Center welcomed Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton to the student leadership meeting. The meeting began at 6:15PM in the Recreation Center Media Room. Norton engaged students, staff, and participants in a conversation on recent congressional actions, including the historic momentum for her D.C, statehood bill that was developed in the house and senate. She discussed her successful efforts to secure a clean D.C. appropriations bill. Her success is getting 40 million DC TAG and her record in passing bills for D.C. priorities, including bills that are rebuilding neighborhoods.
