ShaRon Dock decided that Job Corps was for him when he found himself unemployed. Job Corps gave him a start after he received his G.E.D., which made it possible for him to further his education. He studied Business & Clerical Occupations and became a certified word processor. “It also gave me more of an opportunity to find myself in my current career as a nurse.”

“It was definitely a change, I was able to gain self-confidence …I am now a Licensed, Registered Nurse.”

As a direct result of the program, ShaRon is currently employed with Potomac JCC and has since graduated from Indiana State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.
