Potomac Job Corps Center is eager to highlight Theodore Proctor alumni of Potomac. Theodore Proctor is a 1986 graduate of Job Corps. His trade on center was Electrical. He currently lives in Ft. Washington, MD. While attending middle and high school he played sports. Sports kept him out of trouble. What led him to Job Corps was the opportunity to engage in Electrical trade training. He wanted to be successful and become a role model for others in his community. While at Potomac Job Corps Center he engaged in Electrical activities, Basketball, and Football. He enjoyed the camaraderie and positive relationship building on center. He didn’t pursue any additional training after Job Corps. He retired from DC Water as an Government Assistant. He currently has his own printing company for custom printing. During his training and experience after Job corps he obtained his license at PACC Community College. With all of his training and experience from being a Job Corps student he was prepared for the Workforce by receiving all of the hard and soft skills on center. His life has changed after completing Job Corps. He is mature enough now to understand people and life. He mentioned “I learned maturity, life skills, cleaning-up, respect, and I would recommend this program to everyone.
