Potomac Job Corps Center academic team has been leading the way with Distance Learning by engaging students into the daily lessons with staff visiting classrooms and supporting lessons. Students have been engaging in Training Adult Basic Education courses (TABE) on center as well. The virtual Google classroom sessions are from Mon. – Fri. to keep students learning and being successful. Students are being motivated to keep up the good work during this time with staff and students motivating them through instructors and encouragement. Senior leadership have also been able to support student engagement also by being able to attend virtual classes well. The academic manager also continues to connect students and staff on student achievement by sending emails to staff to motivate students who are doing exceptionally well and students that need additional support. Potomac will continue to push towards success!
