Potomac Job Corps Celebrates “World Lupus Month”

The Potomac Job Corps Center Recreation Department will be celebrating World Lupus Month. The recreation team has been able to develop a month dedicated to the obstacles that some people face on a daily bases. Although, this month is highly recognized for people with Lupus, it should always be recognized or highlighted to show support for everyone. Lupus many years ago was a unknown condition that few people knew or even heard about until research and science began to engage in testing and people lives. There are several organizations and communities nationwide that celebrate the lives and accomplishments for those who deal with it everyday. Potomac Job Corps Center has chosen to celebrate life and Lupus. Celebrating the lives and accomplishments of people who continue to fight and those lost along the way is the goal but also to inform and educate. Potomac will share with students on center safely how it effects the body and also the lives of many, however people overcome challenges daily. Potomac wants to celebrate life despite the challenge of battling Lupus.
