Potomac Job Corps Center has identified another Potomac graduate making a difference in the community. Former graduate Mitch Davis has excelled outside of Potomac. His story starts at Potomac when he really needed PJCC the most. He was in the 11th grade when he experienced a few bumps along the road before arriving to Potomac. He arrived to PJCC from Virginia, Beach Va. What led him to Potomac was the ability to become successful in a training area. He always wanted to become skilled in Electrical. So, his desire brought him to the center. While at Potomac he received his certification in OSHA-10 and RAMSET. Not only did he participate in Electrical but he also participated in Basketball, dormitory leader as well. He’s currently working a full-time job but also preparing himself to enter college. He mentioned that the Military Readiness Program on center really prepared him for his future along with Electrical. He plans to visit Potomac again to hire students. His message to all future students is “push, pull, jump, and run towards greatness”
