On May 2nd, Potomac Job Corps Center observed Earth Day.  Staff and students participated in various projects around the center.  Some of the projects included landscaping, planting flowers, and painting.  All throughout the center, improvement projects and cleaning projects took place to beautify Potomac center.  Staff and students enjoyed the perfect weather and enjoyed spending a day outside and improving the center’s appearance.  The cafeteria provided a cookout themed lunch for the Earth Day participants to enjoy.  The menu included hamburgers, turkey dogs, BBQ chicken, coleslaw, and potato salad.
