Lamont L., a dedicated and hard-working student, has learned that persistency can pay off. After volunteering to work with more than nine security companies in the Washington, D.C. area, Lamont was offered a job at Sidwell Friends School in Washington, D.C.    Although these accomplishments are great in themselves, this position will also provide Lamont with a mid-level security clearance. A security clearance is a status granted to individuals allowing them access to classified information and locations. Less than one percent of the population has special clearances.  We wish him well.
