The BCL attended two congressional meetings in the Congressional district of Congresswoman Donna Edwards. The meetings included a networking session with young leaders from the Washington, DC metropolitan area. The goal of both meetings was to discuss youth unemployment and ways to assist young people in gaining skills and networking opportunities to seek employment.  Several technological companies vowed to support work based and training initiatives proposed by the Congresswoman.
