The BCL attended a congressional “Meet and Greet” in Germantown, Maryland sponsored by Congresswoman Donna Edwards.  The event was attended by several community leaders.   The BCL had an opportunity to discuss two energy projects (Solar and Rain Roof Gardens), employment opportunities and transitional housing.  A number of energy companies and builders attended this event.  The BCL encouraged campus tours and hopefully, several Potomac Job Corps students will have upcoming opportunities to interview with several companies attending. The event was held on March 3, 2012.
