Potomac Job Corps, in May 2012,   began the accreditation process to certify the center as a career technical institution.  This staff,  students, and families of Potomac Job Corps is  pleased that the  Center is always looking for ways to identify to our public that we offer high-quality training and academic  programs.  Our belief is that a career training and academic program involvement in the accreditation process raises the Center’s commitment to quality through this intentional investment.  At present, the Center’s accreditation team has begun a revision of the Center’s mission, vision and is preparing a self-study to share with the staff for approval.  This process takes approximately 12 months to complete.  .  This process has helped our Center re-evaluate our present program and to infuse best practices wherever available.
