It has been a grand week for community service in Pittsburgh! PJCC was represented at the Jerry Lewis MD Labor Day Telethon with eight students and two staff: BCL and Ms. Tuwuanna Coward, Residential Coordinator. Several students worked in the mail room while others manned the phones for a total of 47 hours. This is the fourth year that PJCC has had a presence at the Telethon.
The Pittsburgh Irish Festival celebrated it’s 20th year September 10-12, 2010. Twenty-five PJCC students and the BCL worked 88 hours in set-up and kitchen preparation for this huge event.
