Today, the students of the Pittsburgh Job Corps Center Nurse Aid Training program spent time working with the veterans on the dementia unit of the Southwestern PA Veterans Center. The students completed their Altzheimers and dementia training last week and decided that volunteering their time to work with our nations veterans would be a wonderful way to not only practice their learned skills, but also give back to the generation of men and women who sacrificed so much for us. The Pittsburgh Job Corps Center not only trains highly qualified professionals but we make it a point to train “good citizens” as well.
