Thanks to a strengthened partnership with CareerSource, a one stop agency, Pinellas County Job Corps has been able to provide paid work-based learning opportunities on our campus. So far, 27 students have been able to help enhance our campus and training environment by assisting in education & training, the cafeteria, dorms, administration and more. These students are making $15 an hour that they can save to help them transition into the workforce once their training is done. It’s truly a win-win for all. Can’t wait for the next group to begin!
The next group is anticipated to begin sometime after the July 4th holiday depending on CareerSource’s schedule. Have a great rest of your day.
